This place suits me perfectly! Free parking, and 24-hour reception. I vividly remember how they returned my sim cards during my first visit. Highly recommend it! I'm returning for the new year.

It's extremely comfy hotel and big, with caring staff and unbeatable location right on the glacier. The breakfast is above average and complimentary - I tried cereals and cheese. I would stay here again, thanks a lot for a really good stay
Not obvious to find!

Everything was perfectly fine, very amiable staff, magnificent location so close to other "nowhere" of Iceland, the Skaftafell Glacier national park and the visitors center. The breakfast offered cereal and cheese. Got twin room with a wide selection of English channels as well as great view as expected.

Well-run and good value place, I greatly enjoyed service-minded personnel.
It was brand-new, functional and with minuscule showers.

Perfect for nature lovers
The staff was friendly, going the extra mile to wake us up for a chance to see the Northern Lights. The breakfast was a buffet like I never seen before, full of delicious options that fueled us for a long day of hiking.
It wasn't inexpensive, but it was still acceptable for what we got.

I had a lovely time enjoying the warm and comfy room while feasting on one of the tastiest meals I’ve ever had at the restaurant. The peaceful walk behind the hotel was a perfect way to unwind, and I loved being able to catch a glimpse of the northern lights nearby! Just a heads up, the bed was a bit snug for two, but overall I had an amazing experience. 🌟

great location but room needs updates
The hotel's location allowed for easy access to Svinafellsjokull via a scenic trail. We also enjoyed the breakfast buffet with a variety of delicious vegan options.
The room could have been a bit bigger (for three people) and was a bit dated.

Staying here was fantastic, especially because the location is perfect for outdoor activities! We took a wonderful hike to the glacier right behind the hotel and couldn't have asked for a better base for our adventures. Plus, the rooms were clean, a must when traveling with family and my aunt.
My wife says that the rooms could really use more space for families. It's quite cramped, especially after a long day of exploring.

The location is fantastic, offering amazing views and easy access to hiking trails. Although the food is delicious, it is quite pricey, and the restaurant service was a bit lacking. The beds were comfortable, but the cramped sink design in the bathroom could use improvement.

amazing access to hiking trails and fine glacier views
The atmosphere was relaxed and the staff were helpful, especially in recommending great spots to explore in Skaftafell National Park, where I spent much of my time walking and enjoying the amazing scenery.

Perfect for exploring the fine glacier walks and amazing ice caves. The location made it easy to hike and enjoy the beautiful scenery. The staff was super friendly, and the breakfast was one of the best we've had in Iceland. Don't miss the trails behind the hotel!
The restaurant prices were a bit high, so if you're on a budget, consider the decent food options at the gas station across the street.
